PLS party

P is for Projector, L is for Laptop and S is for Sör (Beer)…these are the indispensable props the regular workshops of the North Hungarian IT Cluster need. PLS parties, balancing between formal and casual, aim to bring our members, members-to-be and partners together so that they can have the opportunity to get to know each other better, share their best practice and set up flourishing businesses above a soothing beverage.

Leave the work desk and ties behind!

Every occasion we invite our guests to a popular pub in Miskolc, because we assume – and after three PLS Parties this assumption might be quite adequately substantiated – that innovative ideas and successful collaborations are most efficiently born in a scenery like this.

The setup

Usually we start with an up-to-date professional topic, like we did last February, when our guests were informed about tax saving potentials or they could learn about up-coming call for proposals, as well. During PLS parties we provide an opportunity to member-to-be companies to introduce themselves, furthermore, we also invite other clusters to share their experiences. At the end of the so-called formal session we usually ask one of our members to tell us what happened to their company during the last few months.

After the presentations the informal session can begin, which usually lasts up until midnight and beyond.
