Navigator – Mentor Programme of the North Hungarian IT Cluster

Navigator, a Mentor Programme of It Cluster in association with Schönherz Schools’ Co-operative, ha been launched. The main purpose is to navigate IT Students of the region to go in for a successful IT carrier, so that they meet the requirements of the labour market, furthermore, they recognise their possibilities within the ICT sector.

Objectives

Our main goal is to provide a syllabus, which can be useful for all the participants:

• We would like to ensure an agile and quality reinforcement of labour force for the Cluster Members.
• We would like to arrange minor programs through which IT students will have the opportunity to grow and improve their practical skills; moreover, they can get hold of a useful basic social capital.
• We would like to address high school students, as well, and navigate them towards the two member education institute, Eszterházy Károly Collage and University of Miskolc. We would also like to harmonize their syllabi to meet the requirements of the market.

The possibilities of Navigator would be available for the IT students of Eszerházy Károly Collage and University of Miskolc, as well.

Parts of Navigator

Conferences, Workshops – We would like to delegate dedicated and talented IT students to different conferences, workshops, or even competitions to broaden their horizons. 

IT+ 2.0 –We would like to organize the series of IT+ again, preferably, in pubs near the two educational institutes so even more IT students can participate.

Courses – After surveying the needs of our members, we would like to organise courses of programming languages, where IT student can deepen their knowledge in a particular laguage both in theory and in practice.
