About Software Innovation Pole Cluster
The Software Innovation Pole Cluster was formed as the result of collaboration of major software research centres, companies and technology transfer organizations. Based upon cooperations so far the Members of the Cluster have realized that they can produce more competitive technologies, products and services if their developments are harmonized. By extending collaborations and by more efficient coordination of cooperations the Cluster offers its Members the consolidation of high added value R&D activities with related training and education, as well as the creation of knowledge intensive activities’ infrastructure.
The Software Innovation Pole Cluster is a voluntary cooperation between the software industry’s businesses and the organisations involved in developing this industry. The Cluster groups equal, collaborating Cluster Members with trust in one another. The form of operation of the Cluster is not a business association by the Hungarian Civil Code or the Act on Business Associations, it has no independent legal personality.
Goals of the Software Innovation Pole Cluster
- to strengthen the cooperation further between the Members, to search for new collaboration opportunities, to create new business propositions,
- to pursue common interest assertion activity,
- to produce competitive technologies, products and services owing to harmonized and common developments,
to increase the income and export share of software industry SMEs, - to harmonize university research with software industry businesses’ needs,
- to advance the business use of (national and international) R&D results in software development,
- to intensify the software innovation activity, especially in the South Plain Region, to establish new spin-off enterprises, to attract further knowledge intensive economic operators into the region,
- to establish a Software Innovation and Research Centre to complete common R&D projects of Members,
- to develop targeted human resources, to implement training and education related to the common developments,
- to develop software industry, thus to contribute to the creation of knowledge-based, high added value economy in the South Plain Region and in Szeged.
