About Comtrans

The COMTRANS Trading and Service Ltd. which is specializing in trade and service of information technology was established in 1990.

The initial activity of our company was providing internet service. Our company initiated the MATÁV Internet service and maintained that during a period of a year within the district of the directorate of the MATÁV Joined Stock Company. This way our service expanded on more counties. The MATÁV Joined Stock Company centralized its regional services in May of 1997. From that time the COMTRANS Ltd. have been featuring in offering and developing Internet-based services.

The Secondary School Internet System, which includes 12 centers, and 80 related points were installed by the COMTRANS Ltd. in the framework of the World Bank project system.

Our company have carried out the implementation of integrated IT projects of  several large counties in Hungary. Such work is being carried on by us these days too. Most of our projects are IT application projects, which are supported by EU funds.

Our employees represent a huge, advanced computing knowledge and experience in the filelds of integrated IT development, installation, system surveillance, testing of computing networks, construction of networks and ongoing consultancy which is required in case of an operating system.

During its activity in developing of information technology, the COMTRANS Ltd. works together with the region's largest information technology developers and service institution, the Computing Center, University of Miskolc, which co-operation is the guarantee of the quality improvement and innovative product development which providing additional growth opportunities for our company.
